KargoSL ("we", "us", or "our") operates the KargoSL and KargoSL Provider mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our platform in Sierra Leone.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use KargoSL:

Full name, phone number and email address
Delivery addresses and approximate location data
Order history and transaction data
Device information and app usage data
Photos uploaded for products and services
Messages sent through the in-app messaging system
Reviews and ratings submitted by users

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Process and deliver your orders
Connect you with shops, vendors and service providers
Process payments and manage your wallet
Send order updates and notifications
Improve our platform and services
Resolve disputes and provide customer support
Comply with legal obligations in Sierra Leone

3. Location Data

KargoSL uses your approximate location to show nearby vendors, calculate delivery fees, and connect you with drivers. Location data is only accessed while the app is in use and is not stored permanently.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only as necessary:

With shops and vendors to fulfill your orders
With drivers to complete deliveries
With payment providers to process transactions
With authorities when required by Sierra Leone law

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using Supabase with row-level security policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights — Account Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data at any time.

🗑️ How to Delete Your Account

To permanently delete your KargoSL account and all associated data, go to Account → Settings → Delete Account in the app, or email us at privacy@kargosl.com with the subject "Delete My Account". Your account and all data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

KargoSL is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
